Bingo The Oshawa Optimist’s Main Fundraiser is held at the Hideaway Bingo all in Whitby every other Saturday Evening Starting at 7:00 PM, Dates can be found in our News & Events page all money raised is used in our Friend of Youth projects to help support organizations and invididuals who work with youth in the community. Optimist Progressive Euchre is our second fundraiser and is our secondary way of rasing Cash prizes, Door prizes and a lunchen is served during intermission, it’s a great way to start every week were fun and fellowship is our prime concern. Admission price is $10.00 per person with profits going to the Friend of Youth projects in the City of Oshawa.. Optimist Hockey Fundraiser with the co-operation of with the City of Oshawa we have securred box 211 at the 8 million ultra modern down town facilty. We will be using this venue for a fundraiser effective for the O.H.L. Major Junior A game between home town Oshawa Generals and their arch rivals Kingston Frontanacs. Tickets are on sale now with the winner securing 10 top seats including supper. Game time is 6:05 PM! the seller of the most tickets will also ducats, well our president and his honoured guest will be also be in attendance.
