CCDHH April 15th, 2008

OSHAWA, April 15 – The 20th Annual Zone 8 CCDHH contest sponsored solely by the Optimist Club of Oshawa members is set for April 15th. A venue has been chosen by co-chairs Carol Sargent and Marg Ross for 2008. Johnny’s Eatery home of the Otimist Weekly Euchre party will be the new site. Last year the contest was operated from the Co-Operative Conference Centre and prior at Oshawa Optimist Headquarters located by Southmead Park. At present we’ve acknowledged three speakers including Keirsten Jackson a grade 5 student from Pierre Elliott Trudeau PS in Oshawa, Grade 6 student Amanda Evans from Epsom PS east of Port Perry and Drew Mastromartino from Ajax who attends Pickering HS as a grade 11 student.
