DRPS CHILLI OFF – OPTIMIST WANT TO REPEAT

Three members from the Optimist of Oshawa Inc will be out in full force Saturday. Nov 17 hoping to repeat as Durham Region Police Service (DRPS) cooking champions. Our cooks, Ann Doyle, Mollie Olynik Dryson and Joe Dryson have been practising now for weeks. This event supports two different Oshawa Food Banks the St. Peter’s Anglican Church and St. Philips Catholic Church. Admission cost is $7.00 pp with a FREE beverage. Eating starts at 3 pm to 7 pm. A new venue was found as attendance in recent years have enjoyed sellout crowds. This year the new G.L.Roberts Community Centre at 1455 Cedar St S.will be the site. Sgt Jeff Hewett and his committee are expecting another banner crowd.
