DRPS/Optimist Chilli Cookoff – Nov 17

Oshawa, Nov 17th. The defending champions the dynamitic dual of Optimist Ann Doyle and Susan Machnik (president ‘06-’07) anticipate they’ll be gunning for another victory at the friendly
sponsored competition from the Durham Regional Police (D.R.P.S.)/Oshawa Optimist Club Annual Chilli Cook-off scheduled at the new Community Centre (attached to G.L.Roberts Secondary School) located at 1455 Cedar Street in South Oshawa from 3 pm to 7 pm. on SaturdayNovember 17th.

Profits from the $7.00 pp plate (including refreshments) of Chilli will be shared by the Food Banks operated by St.Peter’s Anglican Church, St. Phillips Catholic Church and St.Vincent DePaul. Seven different groups are intending to upset the defending champions.

Already Optimist Ann Doyle has volunteered her services to be our head cook. She has “super receipt” but refuses to release her ingredients. All Optimist and their friends are welcome to attend and eat. P.S…. kindly bring along a non-perishable food product.
