Working with a long time supporter of our club Scott Thompson he’s presented us with a deal even the Godfather couldn’t refuse.

It’s Optimist Day At The Theatre.

The play features two brothers Owen and Lee Melville arrive at their uncle’s cabin for a week- end of beer and fishing. Their plans where altered by the arrival of two sisters. The women stay the night and immediately become catalyst for this witty and very entertaining comedy resulting with four lives in transition. The comedy comes from the superior Canadian writer Norm Foster.

The Herongate Barn Theatre originally started as a dairy farm housing animals until the 1970’s. When the barn ceased to be economical the building serviced auctions, barn dances and hayrides. In 1975 the venue was converted by the Ward Family for use as a theatre. To-day the facility is truly a unique dinner theatre something to behold. Where else can you dine in a bull pen or manger while occupying theatre seats from the historic old Victory Burlesque Theatre in Toronto.

At Herongate they’ve worked overtime to ensure you enjoy a superb meal and delightful quality entertainment.
